A lot of blowouts in the opening around. Not a whole lot of buzzer beater action. I keep seeing a lot of games where Miami could have given the winner a better game than the team that played.

Iā€™ve been watching these 3/14 and 4/13 seed games wondering if we wouldā€™ve fared better than the actual teams, who are on the way to 0-8 (Akron and Troy currently getting boat raced). My non-expert opinion is we certainly couldā€™ve if we shot as well as we have all season, weā€™ll never know.

Akron always seems to lay an egg in the big dance. I think they have only played one close one

Terrible matchup for Akron. Zips are one of the smallest front ends in all of the NCAA and Zona is one of the biggest. Akron had to be able to shoot lights out tonight. They were cold from the perimeter.

As a mid-major, no matter what style you play, in the post-season you need bigs against the big boys, even when you shoot lights out. At the very least, high-level athleticism along the baseline.
