Anyone know what hotel the team is staying at?
Undecided if I’ll head up Friday and leave after the game, or if I should get up early and spend Saturday night in Greektown…

I will be there with a group of 6. I want to give special recognition to Cathy Nolan, who has attended every game home and away this season…Other than family members, she is probably the only female fan to accomplish this. Way to go Cathy!!

I’ll be there plus a few. Staying at the Marriott Renaissance Center. The MAC usually decks out the lobby with decorations & they run a merch table pre/post game
The last championship I went to, we stayed at the casino hotel in Windsor. Drove the deserted tunnel after the game. Is that place still there? Anyone look into that?

Cheapest RT airfare this year from NC or SC is around $400. Last year I flew up from MYR for about $150 RT. Doesn’t look like I’m going to be able to make it this year. Too bad!

Red Smoke BBQ, IMO the best BBQ in Detroit. Better than Slow’s. Or head over to Mudgie’s in Corktown.

Driving up and back on Saturday by myself. A friend’s son is in the ICU at Detroit Children’s, so I’m hoping to pop over after the game to say hi and give them a Christmas present.

The Pre-game Miami brunch at Ford Field is sold out again. Last year’s was one of the nicest I’ve ever attended.

N…got two tickets to this year’s event mid day yesterday. Must have gotten in close to the sold out timeline. Great to hear it was nice. Driving up to Detroit with four Bobbies grads. Hope to talk smack all the way home! Three and a half hours of giving 'em an ear full.
