I know some on this board knew or knew of John Cocanougher. He passed away Tuesday December 14 and his visitation & service will be Sunday December 19 from 2 to 4 pm at the Olge & Young Funeral Home in Oxford.
John played football for Miami in the early 1960’s and was a GA for coach Schembechler. John and his wife Lois were huge supporters of Miami Athletics. John & Lois have season tickets for almost every Miami sport, are substantial donors to the athletic department, and in fact sponsor several end-of season awards that are given annually at team banquets.
