Miami at #4 Virginia, Friday, Nov. 14th at 12:00 pm (ET).
All time Miami is 0-13 vs Virginia, but seven of the losses were by a margin of one goal. The most recent match between the two was on October 20, 2024. Miami lost 0-1.

Amid the football drama, Miami scored late in the 1st to tie it. 1-1 heading into the 2nd vs UVA.
I turned it on just in time to see us score! Let’s go Redhawks!!

I gotta say…I watch and understand all kinds of sports. I saw a few field hockey games when I was at Miami. I was a high school athletic trainer in NJ and covered field hockey for two seasons. I still do not understand the rules of this game. 
Also, props to the commentator for not even once saying “Miami of Ohio”…the commentators for the MAC championship game apparently couldn’t say “Miami” without attaching “of Ohio” to it. 
eta: right after I post that, he throws out an “of Ohio”…oh well, at least he seems to be trying…

Our own yanksalex was the voice of Miami field hockey for a season while we were students and understood no rules. The parents of players said it was an interesting broadcast.
