They’re definitely not undefeated as we were wearing grey during Timeoutgate. Generally though I think you’re right, also I feel like we usually save grey for MACtion so not like we’re pulled them out for the likes of Marshall or UNLV.
I was thinking the gray uniforms were worn during a loss to OU at one point but maybe I was confusing it with that game. But yeah the record is still good since the team usually wears them in November, when the wins are far more likely. The gray jerseys were also used for the replacement bowl win over North Texas. And they date back at least to 2016, since the team wore them against CMU that year near the end of the 6-game winning streak to get to 6-6.

Since I didn’t see a prediction thread, I’ll put the College Football 26 prediction:

It wasn’t even that close. EMU’s first TD (which actually made it 10-7) came on a 90-yard screen pass when Miami brought extra guys on the blitz to try to get a safety. EMU did absolutely nothing until the Eagles scored a meaningless touchdown early in the 4th when both teams had emptied the benches.
Miami had 510 yards of offense, with 290 yards on the ground and 220 through the air. EMU had -8 (yes, negative) yards on 15 carries.
Dequan Finn completed an absurd 18 of 20 passes for 202 yards and a TD. He also had 102 yards on the ground with two more scores (from 35 yards out and 51 yards out). Jordan Brunson finished with 71 yard and a score and D’Shawntae Jones had 81 and 2 TDs, including a 51-yarder. Henry Hesson was 3-3 for 18 yards and 30 yards rushing. Miami had 7 receivers catch at least on pass. The D had 2 interceptions in the second half, and Miami’s O didn’t turn it over at all.
What a beatdown.

IIRC we gave the original grey jerseys with the big white shoulder stripe to all the players after the Frisco Bowl since we were updating uniforms that offseason anyways.
