Someone needs to donate them some red clothing.
In the 80s Ron Hunter was the first off the bench and a dynamic energizing leader. While good enough to start, I think he had more impact in that role.
Ipsaro was great last night. He did it all, including blocking a shot near the basket. My son played PG in HS, knows and loves the game, and agreed that Ipsaro was terrific. I think with Cooper now scoring and Ipsaro playing at a high level and demanding minutes, Skaljac may see a reduction in his time. He has not been as sharp the last couple games and he may be fatigued. He’s never played this much ball in the last seven months. I do expect him to contribute at the PG.
I like our entire team. Just great depth all through the walkon’s. Evan is an absolute tank. The frosh is going to be excellent. Kid has a beautiful shot.
Cooper and Ipsaro have been playing very well lately. Good to see Cooper bounce back from poor start to season. Ipsaro has been solid all year. Skaljac has not shot well past few games but he has not played PG all year so his minutes are not impacted by Coop/Ips. He has been back up SG all year.
Ipsaro is amazingly quick. Examples: Once was when he flashed around the EMU big to steal a pass. I replayed that a couple times. Another was in Ft. Myers. He stole the ball and put on a jaw dropping burst of speed for a layup. I’d like to see his 40 time.
Actually, I have been thinking that after his 4 years of basketball eligibility is over, he could return for 1 year and Chuck could turn him into an NFL cornerback!
I was hoping Chuck would turn Anderson Mirambeaux into a starting left offensive tackle.
I could actually see that happening, with his speed and size.
