Wow. Two thoughts, I can’t believe it, and two, this is an honor to be in such esteemed company. Yep, maybe I need to scale back/or not.
Sometimes I tell myself the same thing as I’m yelling at 1200 pound brute animals to do my bidding at the track and instead, they’d rather cause me financial ruin and be just as happy being made into Elmer’s glue. But in those quiet, introspective moments, I think to myself: “don’t ration passion!” If you love something, just love it. And then I continue shouting curse words at the horses.
