Ahhh, sorry, I’m out. Family decided to all get together for the holiday this year.
Just noticed that we have to go on the road to play Denver just 6 days after our last Ireland game. Not sure about scheduling that quick of a turnaround after an international trip, especially at altitude.
2022: Nebraska loses in Ireland, goes 4-8
2023: Navy loses in Ireland, goes 5-7
2024: Florida St loses in Ireland, goes 2-10
2025: Kansas St loses in Ireland, needs a miracle to beat North Dakota
Huge risk of a hangover, especially if the tournament doesn’t go great.

I mean not to be a negative Nancy but our recent history at Denver has been abysmal and no matter what other circumstances they face it’s going be a massive uphill battle to overcome our struggles with that team. I’m not saying your concerns aren’t valid but I’m just thinking how much worse could that really make us (please don’t take this as a challenge, team).
On the positive Polly side maybe we’ll win the friendship four and that momentum wont die in those 6 days and we can see the team win at Denver for the first time in 6 years (we have a 15 game winless streak there). Last year Merrimack came in last in the Friendship Four and won their first game back 6 days later. They won 5 out of their first 6 games getting back from Belfast.

Has anyone heard of luggage weight issues for trains/busses coming back from Belfast to Dublin?
One site was warning about that.

I bought our tickets from Belfast to Dublin airport on Translink, the Northern Ireland carrier. They didn’t have anything kn their site about luggage limitations. The ROI carrier, Dublin Express, says they allow two 45 pound pieces of luggage plus a smaller soft luggage piece per passenger. Nothing seems very restrictive..
We’re busing out of Belfast on Sunday at 12:30 p. Flying out of DUB on Monday morning.

We’re at the Crowne Plaza at Dublin Airport on Sunday night. They have free shuttle to and from the airport.
There is a weekend Christmas Market at nearby Swords Castle. We’re going to taxi over to it late Sunday afternoon.

If anybody has a morning around Dublin and is near Bread 41 I would encourage you to go if you’re a carb-lover like me. Awesome pastries, breads and other treats.
Also, mentioned this a while back, but the Black Taxi tours in Belfast are worth it to learn about the city’s history. You won’t believe what still goes on today to keep Catholics and Protestants separated.

Unfortunately I cannot make the trip - TV for any of these games?
How long is it? I’d be curious to do something for a couple of hours but I’m still not sure what the team is doing Thursday and Saturday’s game time won’t be known until Friday night.
We’re doing Giant’s Causeway on Sunday.
