Winning streak aside, is our magic number to clinch the one-seed now down to 2 (any combination of Miami wins or Akron losses)?
I assume there’s no ‘MAC Football Tiebreaker’ drama, and we have the clear advantage on Akron with the only head-to-head win for the season between us.
Listened to the last 10 minutes while driving. I wasn’t really nervous but it sounded like the first half was much stronger.
Anyway looking forward to Friday!
We’ve gone through attendance issues so long that I’m not gonna talk smack on anyone. Seeing a lot of decently sized and energetic road crowds in MAC play (then beating them) has been fun.

I know this won’t happen because the Hawks are focused………but what if they lost only one game and it was in the MAC Tournament, and they ended up 32-1 or 33-1, or lost one game in the reg. season and one in the tourney and were 31-2 or 32-2? They would get into the March Madness Tournament, wouldn’t they? Please tell me yes because I really love MAC teams like Miami, UT, Ohio and EMU. I want to see this cobference make some serious noise and Miami has the best chance of doing that. I’m from Toledo and my dream would be that the Hawks get upset in the title game by the Rockets for the Redhawks’ only loss and 2 MAC teams get in. Go Hawks, baby, 28-0!!!
