1. Cincinnati Elder (12-1, regional finalist)
Quarterback Kaden Estep is a Mr. Football favorite. He made the All-Ohio first team and led the Panthers to the Region 4 finals, throwing for 2,430 yards and rushing for 924 yards with 25 total TDs. Estep is a Miami (Ohio) recruit. Junior
2. St. Edward (11-3)
Region 1 still goes through St. Edward, which has won it five straight years. The Eagles graduated record-setting running back Brandon White and receiver Zach Hackleman, but coach Tom Lombardo has this program running at a level like few in the state. Quarterback Langston Lucas earned time last year behind graduated starter Jonny Evanchick, and tackle Jack Marquard is next up as a big prospect on the offensive line. Tight end Joe Moore gives the offense a big weapon, while defensive end B.P. Paulozzi is headed to Syracuse and safety Landon Lehmer is committed to Miami (Ohio).

bummer, but you still have to play the long game with these kids. Build the relationships in high school so when they’re in the portal in 2 years, you have that that draw on.

I was at this game last night. The video doesn’t do him justice. Cripps pulled away from the Fairmont defense, twice, and made it look easy both times. If he stays healthy, he’ll be fun to watch!
