Again, not particularly glamorous positions. And clearly didn’t prioritize Tommy.
I disagree, Both Wake Forrest and Rutgers quarterbacks were offered 2-3 weeks after Tommy at the end of May meaning they were lower on those schools list and when he said he wasn’t decommiting they went to their next ranked guy. Also, both of those schools should have more NIL than us, so why not celebrate someone who clearly seems bought into the program.
Tommy is a better player than the committed QB’s and candidly, I think Miami would have beat Rutgers and WF last year and other seasons. So why not celebrate Miami? You really don’t know what was offered to him NIL wise and neither do I.
Wake Forest, FWIW.
Who are we talking about? There was a 16 day gap in the thread.
I think we both have the same point. I also think he is better than both of those qb’s which is why they were offered after him. I’m not sure about Wake but Rutgers has a pretty good class right now, so I assumed they have some good NIL money. The good thing is we can beat them next year and I hope so because I’m planning on flying up for that one.
Tommy Carr our QB commit. I was following up on the note that he had received two more power 4 offers in May. Those two schools offered two seemingly worse players after him and those players committed.
Fairly similar. I just don’t really see WF and Rutgers as necessarily better options on the football field, but it’s not to denigrate Tommy’s commitment to MU. To me it exemplifies the program’s continued growth. Thanks, RH24 for your reasoned response.

“Your highness, Lady and London Vickroy!”
" A year ago, London Vickroy…had a goal—to be great. He didn’t just trust the process; he attacked it.
Gained 40 lbs of muscle
Went from a 3.0 GPA to a 3.7
Earned 10 offers
Became a better leader in his community"
I did this same goal but in reverse. I got fatter than ever before. Dumber than I thought possible. And more childish than I was as a child. Life is great! My point is, don’t think there’s only one path. I mean, there is, but how you walk it is up to you.
Kids, stay in school and don’t (or do) do drugs.
Love, Yellow.
Another commit Tristan Reed 6’4 180 WR out of Washington PA. Up to 23 commits, almost done for the year.

“Felt like home, a great place to be and surround yourself around winners. It was beautiful and the whole staff is great along with the players.”
Interesting comment regarding Coach Martin’s role in the recruitment.
“He (Coach Martin) was going through some trouble and just his dedication on trying to be there and his love for the game.”
Would like to see us add a TE, either Cole Albers or Khalid Worthy. Maybe one more OL.
