I’ve been there for all the games in this tournament.
A joy to watch this Miami team take charge in their two wins!
No doubters!!
With great efficiency!!
But, still, one more day!!
The mantra for tomorrow, like today, should be…
Play and win just one game!!
(Love and Honor!)

Ernie Banks classic exhortation was wrong about today. Let’s don’t play two!

How many teams have we had play for or win a conference title this school year?

Football, field hockey, men’s basketball, softball, and baseball?

Reese’s Pieces Cup!!!

Who are our #3 and #4 starting pitchers and what are their stats? I would say we do not want to use our top 2 starters today but we can use our closer. It may take a lot of runs to win today.

I read somewhere recently, that Miami is likely to win both the Reese Cup and the Jacoby Cup for the 2024-2025 season.

Clayton Burke with a 6.39 era game 1 and Troy Benko with a 7.18 era game 2 would be my guess

It’s all hands on deck if it goes to Game 2.

Toledos starter has 1 inning 19 pitches so far this tournament. No idea if they’ll try to use him as a starter or continue with him as a reliever and have a bullpen game

Quick 1-2-3 inning and now… a lead off double. Let’s get that immediate lead.

Thanks. Looking at those numbers and the runs UT has been putting up, we need to score a lot today.

Lets go. Make sure they remember forever the day they met Miami.

A pair of infield grounders result in a pair of outs… but lead to the opening run of the game. Miami is up 1-0.

Nice to get the pitch count up early. Just tire them out, eventually the mistakes will come

Toledo walked the bases loaded but Miami can’t get any additional runs

Had them on the ropes with bases loaded.
But, no more damage.
1-0 good guys af1.
