Miami up to 8 votes in the USCHO poll, next weeks opponent Lindenwood received 1 vote while former opponent Ferris state received 3
Not sure if this has been shared on any other threads, but this link gives a good explanation of the NPI:
Never knew the Pairwise was becoming unpopular in determining tournament teams.
15 votes in the USA Hockey poll
Miami receive 41 votes in the USCHO poll, just missing out being ranked. 2 spots away
Unbelievable- we are the only team in the country that has won all their games. Beat teams that beat Denver and WMU. What more do they want! Guess this gives us a chip on our shoulder to show up against ASU
Just keep winning and let the chips fall where they may.
We did receive more votes than ASU. Favorites?
We won all of three games last year. I wouldn’t hold a grudge against anyone voting on these that is waiting to see what happens in NCHC play.
I will when 2-5-1 Minnesota are ranked
We receive 32 votes in the USA hockey poll 3 spots away from being ranked
Sure, but their schedule is:
Split with RV Michigan Tech
0-1-1 against #11 BC
Split on the road against #8 UND
Swept by #10 Duluth
Seen reasonable they’ve dropped from 8th to 19th but are still ranked.
With our track record the last 10 yrs you can’t blame anyone for not voting for us. The results haven’t been there. Keep winning and playing good hockey and lets be concerned with our record at the end of the year and what we are ranked. October is way to early
I think just outside the top 20 is fair. Like others have had, show you can win in the league and the respect will come.
ASU is 2-4.
Watch out they may be overdue.
Should be an epic series.
For anyone still holding out hope for a Summit-sponsored hockey league, your hopes are now all but dashed. While “never say never” always holds true, yeah, no. The National!
