Nice feature story on Miami QB commit Thomas Gotkowski. Seems like a very sharp young man. Ben Davis took down Cathedral HS this past weekend to move on to the state Semi-finals. The match up featured two Miami commits. Gotkowski for Ben Davis, and Zach Meeks for Cathedral. Meeks had a 25 yard TD reception.
Hopefully we can hold onto Ringer
Heard he is an early enrolling in January
Any time Cathedral loses is a happy day for me.
Beat Ball State for all these Indiana guys and then get to signing Dsy quick.
QB Commit Thomas Gotkowski led Ben Davis to the Indiana 6A State Championship. Finished the game 15-22 for 156 yards and two TD’s.
Hard not to get Brett Gabbert 2.0 vibes when you watch his film. A lot to like about him
Ben Davis putting out some studs these days. The NC State running back who ran over the Tar Heels Saturday was a BD Giant. They said he was referred to Doeren by an Ohio Bobcat assistant over a hotel breakfast during a recruiting visit to Ohio.
I just made a post about Indiana not consistently producing top talent, but there are a few schools there that do have kids college-ready. The Tracy family at Decatur Central comes to mind, but Ben Davis, Chatard, and a few others do a great job. There just seems to be a cliff at a certain point.
One nice thing about Spectrum is that you can get their Spectrum News feeds from all over the country. I’m watching the Ohio D2 state championship game between Massillon and Akron Bishop Hoban. Score is 7-5 Tigers starting the fourth. Miami 24 commit Devin Bell #5 is playing for Hoban. He’s an edge rusher.
Massillon wins it 7-2 as Hoban receiver drops a TD pass in the end zone on 4th and 8 with 1:32 left.
I watched that too.
Josh Ringer named one of 10 finalists for Mr. Indiana football, one finalist at each position.
He looks quick, fast, and elusive. Great combo!
Not sure where to post this …
