He’s also 69 years old.

1 had been telling friends that I thought he would be fired this year. In his first season we beat them in the MACC. Since then the program has just gotten a little weaker year by year. Football has a long tradition at winning at Central and the Natives are unhappy. He did quit after his best win for awhile, knocking off rival Western last night.
Fans of both Ball state and Central on the MAC board had been expressing displeasure with both mike Neu and Jim McElwain.
If I’m either of those schools I have Chris Creighton on speed dial. Would be a great hire as he’s won in the MAC with less resources.

The announcement of Purdue firing their coach can’t come soon enough. He’s doing a Don’t up there.
Hoping they don’t climb out of their mess by the time it’s 2027 (if I recall) so we can wreck them in West Lafayette. More likely than not they’ll be at least middling instead of awful, like Rutgers next season.
If we win the MAC, I bet they make a run at hiring Chuck.
